Alex Croston

Software & AI engineering

LinkedIn

Alex holds a Master's in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Minnesota (2025) and brings the firm's deepest hands-on software and AI engineering background. Alex started his software development in Finance with a focus on operational automation and employee efficiency. He has built full read/write ERP integrations and custom AI-agent (MCP) tooling connecting ERP platforms to AI assistants, saving heavy ERP users several hours a week they used to spend pulling data by hand. His AP invoicing automation cut processing time by roughly 75%, and his AR invoicing and customer remittance automation have taken that upkeep off finance's plate entirely. He also builds RAG systems for Q&A over internal technical documentation.

Finance & operations

LinkedIn

Nick has completed a Master's in Business Administration at the University of Minnesota in the spring of 2026. His financial analyst experience and strong Excel and spreadsheet modelling skills, paired with a customer service background, keep engagements grounded in real business operations. Nick has built automated reporting infrastructure that cut reporting time by 45%. As an analyst, he owns executive level financial performance reporting across 10 business units, translating complex data that C-suite leadership uses to make decisions. He also has hands-on knowledge of using Claude to build MCP servers that connect ERP systems to AI tools, which brings a practical finance lens to technical decisions.

Our approach

Technical depth, business context

We pair hands-on AI and software engineering with real finance and engineering backgrounds, so integration work fits how your business actually operates — not just what is technically possible.

Every engagement draws on all three disciplines at once: deep ERP integration and AI development, financial and operational analysis, and rigorous systems-level engineering practice. In a firm this size that is not a handoff between departments. It is three people at the same table.
